ENERGY"
Energy is that the capacity of a system to try to to work. Energy causes things to happen around us. During the day, the sun gives out light and warmth energy. At night, street lamps use power to light our way. When a car drives by, it's being powered by gasoline, a kind of stored energy. The food we eat contains energy. We use that energy to figure and play. Energy exists in many various forms. samples of these are: light energy, heat, energy, gravitational energy, electricity, sound energy, energy, nuclear or nuclear energy and then on. These sorts of energy will be transferred and transformed between each other. this is often of immense benefit to us. For a source of energy to finish up as electricity it's going to undergo many transformations before it can power the sunshine bulb in homes. Although there are many specific forms of energy, the 2 major forms are mechanical energy and P.E..

It is a matter of common experience that a quick moving stone can break a windowpane, falling water can rotate turbines, and moving air can rotate windmills and propel sailboats. altogether these examples, the moving body possesses energy. Work is completed by the body in motion. this kind of energy possessed by moving objects is thought as mechanical energy. mechanical energy is defined because the energy possessed by an object by virtue of its motion. The magnitude of the K.E. depends on both the mass and therefore the velocity of the item per the equation K.E. = ½ mv² where m is that the mass of the item and v is its velocity.
Potential Energy"
Water stored in an exceedingly reservoir is capable of rotating turbines, which are kept at at a lower level i.e. water stored during a reservoir possesses energy. A toy car driven by a winding key. after we turn the key the spring gets wound and if we leave the toy car on the ground, it starts moving because of the unwinding of the spring. this suggests that the wound spring possesses energy. Which successively moves the toy car. Here the gain in energy is thanks to its position or condition. Energy by virtue of position or configuration is termed mechanical energy. Formula of P.E. is P.E. = mgh where m is mass, g is gravitational acceleration and denotes height.
There are many styles of energy. But they'll all be put into two categories. P.E. and mechanical energy,.
